This versatility opens the door to many possible combinations. For many years in Spain only a rear-mounted rack had demand and most of our front racks were sent to the rest of Europe.
Luckily, with the arrival of bikepacking this concept has changed. Nowadays we look favorably on mounting handlebar bags, bottle cages and cylindrical bags to the fork and of course also a front rack.
So, what do I mount in the front and what do I mount in the back?
Well, we have several possibilities…
-Divide front and back
-Elkhorn front and back
-Divide back and Elkhorn front
-Elkhorn back and Divide front.
Below we show you in images some of these combinations on different bikes. And remember that both racks come standard prepared for mounting to the eyelets in the frame and with the fit kit you can mount the rack to the axle for more robustness. Front or back.
Any combination is valid. It all depends on your bike, the type of route or the amount of cargo you want to carry. The Divide can carry up to 32kgs with axle mounting and the Elkhorn 12kgs.

Happy Trails!!
