We present the Widefoot CargoMount Classic the original

At the last bikeshow in Madrid (Festibike), held between September 9 and 11, 2022, we showed the new CargoMount from Widefoot to the public for the first time.

The Widefoot CargoMount™ Classic is the original one-piece aluminum cargo mount. It securely fastens a variety of bottles, smaller bags and cylindrical objects to your bike frame or fork.

If you visited us at the show you’ll also have seen Old Man Mountain’s new rack, the Elkhorn. And the Elkhorn is the reason we started selling the Widefoot CargoMount. The Elkhorn rack has 3 holes on each side leg that allow you to screw a bottle cage or CargoMount directly onto it. The advantage of the CargoMount over screwing a bottle cage directly onto it is that you can choose between carrying a bottle cage or a small cylindrical bag.

Made from robust, lightweight aluminium and available in a black finish, weighing just 66g, it is among the lightest cargo carriers on the market.

3-pack mounts

You can attach your CargoMount to three-bolt mounting systems using the unique 7-slot configuration, allowing fine adjustment to multiple positions on frames and forks.

Voile Straps

The Widefoot CargoMount comes with 2 Voile Straps with which you can easily attach your bottle or bag to the mount.

We think the CargoMount Classic is the perfect companion for the Elkhorn. By placing a bag on top of the Elkhorn you can take advantage of the side legs to carry more cargo or carry more water. (On the Elkhorn you should never hang side panniers on either side from the upper platform tube.) Also, the WideFoot CargoMount can be mounted on the frame of your bike as well.

Apart from the Widefoot CargoMount, we also showed our Old Man Mountainr racks Divide, Divide Fat and Elkhorn.
