The Axle Pack is an aluminum piece that, mounted to the axles and secured to the fork legs, will allow riders to transform any thru-axle fork into an adventure-worthy one, providing 3-Pack setups.

The Axle Pack allows for multiple bike scenarios and transformations, from simply attaching your water bottle, to securing your dry bag with your sleeping bag. The Old Man Mountain Axle Pack is unlike any fork mounting adapter you’ve ever seen. Instead of trying to clamp it to round or tapered surfaces and just hope it doesn’t slip or rotate, the Axle Pack, you guessed it, is mounted on the thru axle. The attachment to the axle makes it impossible to slide or rotate.

The detailed specifications of the all new Axle Pack are as follow:
– Fits any fork that uses our Thru Axle Mount Packs.
– Made from 6061 aluminum, the Axle Pack is light, stiff and strong.
– A slim 73g per side. – Mounts securely to our axle bolts.
– Can’t slide or rotate around fork legs.
– Can carry much more than a 3-hole fork.
– Most bike racks can only support 1.5kg on each side. Add to that low weight limit the possibility of the bags hitting a tree or rock and you have a good chance of ripping the eyelets off your fork, especially on a carbon fork.
– Load capacity is 5kg per side = 10kg.
