The Camper Longflap is the largest model in the Carradice Originals range, offering a generous 24-litre capacity for gravel riding, bikepacking, lightweight touring, and multi-night adventures. The expandable longflap design provides flexible storage for camping gear, clothing, and essential equipment without the need for full panniers.
Leather straps provide secure attachment, and the bag pairs perfectly with Bagman support racks for added stability on rough gravel and bikepacking terrain.

Most Carradice saddlebags can be attached directly to saddle loops using the traditional leather straps. A Bagman Support isn’t essential, but it improves stability, prevents sway, protects the bag base, and makes mounting quicker. For larger bags like Camper Longflap a support is strongly recommended.
18L or Below → Bagman Sport. Either standard or QR version.
Above 18L → Bagman Expedition. Either standard or QR version.
If in doubt, choose Expedition - it offers more clearance and stability for long-flap bags.
Carradice cotton duck uses a densely woven 18 oz fabric treated with wax. The weave and proofing create a long-lasting, natural waterproof barrier.
Use cold water and a soft brush. Avoid detergents - they strip the proofing.
Eventually, yes. Cotton duck can be re-proofed using wax dressing to maintain waterproof performance.
