Bagman Support Racks — Brand Story

Bagman Support Racks grew out of a simple, rider-led idea: if you’re carrying your life on two wheels, your bags should feel like part of the bike, not an afterthought. Born from Carradice’s decades of experience making rugged British luggage, the Bagman range was created to give saddlebags and handlebar bags a solid, stable platform that works as hard as you do—whether you’re commuting through the city, linking fire roads on a weekend bikepacking loop, or crossing countries on a long-distance tour.

Every Bagman rack is built around the same principle: support the bag from below, keep the load vertical and close to the bike, and remove the wobble that turns long days in the saddle into a fight for control. The result is a family of slim, purpose-built supports—Sport and Expedition, in Standard and Quick Release versions—that turn soft luggage into a confident, balanced system. They’re designed to pair naturally with Carradice’s classic saddlebags and newer adventure bags, but also work with many other brands, so riders can mix and match as their needs evolve.

What sets Bagman apart is the focus on real-world use rather than marketing specs. The racks accept up to around 10 kg, lift the bag clear of the tyre, reduce leg rub and keep the centre of gravity low, which matters when the road turns to gravel or the miles stack up. The Quick Release models let you pop the bag off in seconds without tools, while the Standard versions rely on the bag’s own straps for a minimalist, no-fuss setup. For handlebars, the Bagman Bar Rack extends the same philosophy: a stable, adjustable platform that shares the load and keeps steering predictable, even with bulky bar bags and dry bags stacked up front.

In short, Bagman Support Racks exist to make loaded riding feel calmer, safer and more enjoyable. They’re the quiet piece of kit you stop noticing—until you take them off and realise how much you relied on that extra stability.

["GET
